This Chemistry study Guide provides a comprehensive set of revision notes, review questions, problems and calculations, worked examples and solutions for the new WACE Chemistry course for Units 2A and 2B.
The ‘Key Ideas’ and concept section at the beginning of each chapter provides clear definitions for the various technical and related terms used in Chemistry.
The ‘Chemistry in Context’ passages are designed to help you link the chemistry concepts to the practical world.
The ‘Think it Through’ questions are designed to clarify concepts and extend your understanding.
The guide uses the most common and widely practise quantitative problem solving approaches for the calculation questions. The worked examples guide you through the more difficult ideas and calculation methods.
Problems and exercises at the end of each section enable you to review your understanding.
The questions are typical of those which often appear in schools tests and examinations and are pitched at a depth and standard appropriate for successful assessment preparation.
Valuable reference material is provided in the Appendices which can be referred to as required when discussing problems or answering questions.
