Stage 3A and 3B Politics and Law 2011
Key features of this book:
This book contains a selection of questions from past TEE Political and Legal Studies Examination Papers – from 2005 to 2009 and the 2010 WACE Politics and Law Examination (all questions). The 2011 Syllabus for Politics and Law has been divided into 10 Chapters which reflect the Stage 3A and 3B Politics and Law course and the inclusion of Section 2 Source Analysis. The 2010 structure of the paper terminology has been used. The Questions from the past papers have been matched-as closely as possible to these chapters. The answer key contains
- Essential content for obtaining full marks in the Short response section
- Essential content for obtaining full marks in the Source analysis section
- Outline of essential aspects for obtaining 20-25 marks in the Extended response section. This is based on the Chief Examiners and Chief Markers report for each year’s examination.
Students should note that all sections of the paper need to be answered in full sentences and complete paragraphs. Answer should be supported by contemporary examples. Students should avoid using dot points or notes to answer questions. The Extended response answers should include an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion.
Please note
- Only selected questions from past papers –which are currently reflected in the 2011 Stage 3A and 3B Politics Syllabus – have been included.
- There are significant differences between the TEE Political and Legal Syllabus and the current 2011 Politics and Law Stage 3A and 3B syllabus.
