Payment Policy

Full payment is due on booking of courses and/or book orders, unless previously arranged with Management. Enrolments and payments can be made by phone, mail, email, fax, in person and via our website. We accept credit card (Visa and Mastercard only), EFT, cheque, money order and cash (in office only).

In exceptional circumstances part payment (in two installments only) can be made by previous arrangement with Management. Part payment attracts an additional administration fee. All payments must be finalised before the course concludes.

If, due to exceptional circumstances, as determined by Management, a student is unable to attend a full course and, if arrangements are made at the time of booking, a pro rata charge may be applied to the course. This fee comprises of an administration and course materials fee plus a daily/sessional rate.

Fee balances are recorded at the bottom of enrolment confirmation letters. If you would like an official receipt of your payment please request this via email as it is not automatically sent.


Cancellation and Variation to Course Policy

ACADEMIC TASK FORCE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes if necessary. Every effort will be made to find a suitable alternative course or venue. In the event a class is cancelled, all students will be notified and full refunds will be provided, with the option to reschedule.

Should a student need to cancel their enrolment before the course commences, one week’s notice is required in order to receive a full refund. No refunds will be made in cash. Alternatively a credit can be provided for use in future courses.

There are no refunds for withdrawals less than one week before the course commences. However, such withdrawals may, at the discretion of Management, receive a credit. In such cases credit will be held by Academic Task Force and recorded on our database. This credit can be used to attend a future Academic Task Force course.

There are no refunds for cancellations after the course has commenced. A partial credit may, at the discretion of Management, be provided. A charge will be made for administration and course materials plus a daily/sessional rate and the balance will be recorded as a credit.

Absences from Holiday Programs due to illness require a doctor’s certificate in order to obtain a credit.

Absences from weekly programs, such as Weekend Classes and Master Classes require notification in writing (an email is acceptable) two working days prior to the scheduled class in order to get a credit. A credit will only be provided for absences due to illness or an authorised school function which clashes with the scheduled class. In the case of sudden illness, credit will be provided if notification (preferably by email) is received on the day, but before the class has commenced. A maximum of one credit per illness or school function will be issued per term. Requests for credit due to absences for continuous extended periods will require a doctor’s certificate or school letter.

Any credits issued can be used as payment for Academic Task Force services and products. Credits are valid for the student’s school life. If unused, they may be transferred to other family members or friends with prior approval from Academic Task Force, otherwise they are forfeited when the student leaves school.

Credits are recorded on our database and are applied automatically when an enrolment is made in another course. If you would like a record of a credit please ask for email confirmation as it is not automatically sent to you.

Any request to vary course times, subjects or venues must be made in writing (email is acceptable) and needs to be approved by the Academic Task Force office (during office hours) prior to the change occurring. Verbal requests to teachers and supervisors will not be recognised and a fee may be incurred for unauthorised change of course.


Return Policy

There are no refunds for book purchases. If the wrong title has been ordered and if the book is returned within one week ACADEMIC TASK FORCE will exchange it for the correct title. Postage costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
